These are pictures of man-made famine and starvation. Abiy Ahmed and Issayas Afeworqi want to repeat it now, which they will fail because Tigray use it's Western Zone to import tractors, fertilizer and plow the land day and night. They will irrigate, the are where already a foundation exists. Tigray is a rich area, the mountains are not the farm lands. In the mountains are monasteries and churches.

You have to think before you yell or curse, you don't teach or share anything to the reader. You come out here to spew your anger. The basic question you should have asked is why are houses built in the North different from the south, why are some diet are unique in the north or south. Why I raised this.

---Look, in the central and south Ethiopia resources are abundant.There are enough trees and grass to easily construct houses. Thus, inhabitants in this part of the country don't have to look for shelter under the cave or the rock. Whereas in the north, particularily in Tigray there are no trees helpful to build a house, in stead there are abudnant rocks and natural caves. Thus, people in Tigray have no choice other than sheltering themselves into the caves or expand it both for living and church or religious services. Most of the houses are small and built by gathering stones and often weak to stand against heavy rain. Why would some one from Shewa, Gojam or Welega gather stone while tree is abundant. Environmental determinis is critical. Ecology provides food and shelter and it affetcs as well. In Tigray, people eat cactus because there are enough food for the family year round and at times even supplement their food with grasshopper, this is due to ecological problem, not civilization. Whereas in Gojam or Welega, where families enough barlies or wheat they eat roasted barley ገብስ ቆሎ not roasted grasshopper. They used timber to build churches not look for natural cave to carve out. The very reason the kingdom of Axum and its original inhabitants of Amhara people moved to south is because of the prennial problem of water, food and construction material. Talking about stone is not civilization. There are lots of stones of destruction around the world.
