Apparently, the reported pause on S3199 & H.R.6600 was: 1, disinformation 2, lobbyist fees, and 3,wishful thinking

Sounds like the reported pause on the #Ethiopia sanctions legislation was maybe 1 part disinformation, 2 parts lobbyist fees, 3 parts wishful thinking

በዚህ ዓመት በፈረንጆቹ መጋቢት 29 የአሜሪካ የውጭ ጉዳዮች ኮሚቴ ምክር ቤት “በኢትዮጵያ ሠላምና ዴሞክራሲን ለማረጋገጥ” በሚል ሕግ አርቅቆ ነበር፡፡
ለመጀመሪያ ጊዜ የማዕቀቡ ሃሳብ የተነሳው ባለፈው ዓመት ሕዳር ወር ላይ ሲሆን የአሜሪካ ዴሞክራት እና ሪፐብሊካን ፓርቲዎች ለውይይት በተሰበሰቡበት ወቅት ነው፡፡
