With we I mean Ethiopians, independently of which part they come from.
According to the recent so called "an ambush" in an area around North-Showa and East-Showa border region between the Amhara and Oromia regional states young Ethiopians were massacred while on duty, serving the security and safety of their people and we still don't know who the perpetrators are. Very bad!
Adding an insult to sustained injuries. These are lives of young Ethiopians.
According to one source the perpetrators are Oneg-Shene, which is, according to the report, being enabled by some elements in the regional government of Oromia itself. According to the other source it is an Amhara Fano, purportedly being enabled and sourced by the Amara regional state itself. This amounts to crime against humanity, independently of who committed the heinous crime against 26 + humnan lives, whose lives have been cut short by their own country fellow, what else should now happen before we should be told who is killing us?
This is a worrisome time and trend, I care less about who you are, now it's time to act and hold the culprits to accountability.
One of the report must have been purposefully distorted to mislead the public and hold them in the darkness about the true story. If you are leading the country and can't even tell who is committing such a heinous crime in a broad daylight, then you have also not deserved to be in the position.
Where there is no accountability there is also no guarantee to lead a decent life in one's own country, in the absence of of a decent life, then the next question is what is the meaning of having a country at all?
We would like to either live in freedom or not live at all.
Who is doing what in today's Ethiopia??
