Another meaningless statement to show US parliamentarians that Abiy's Regime is working to end the conflict and delay the HR6600 when what is really needed to end the conflict is agree a negotiated ceasefire.
Are the Afar regional army is bound by this statement? No.
Are the Amhara regional army and Fano bound by this statement? No.
Are Eritrean forces in Western Tigray and Afar Region bound by this statement? No.
So what is the point of this declaration then? Nothing!
Why is the government shying away from agreeing a negotiated ceasefire since July 2021?

Don’t you understand that the plan for Abiy is to eliminate TPLF officials? As long as TPLF officials are there, then he won’t get sleep. So even this permission is temporary-just to bypass the HR or whatever forced to say so!!
