One of the first things we Eritreans accomplished following the declaration of our independence in 1991 was to remove the 10 colonial era provinces (Awraja) and replace them with 6 new multi-ethnic administrative regions that are called Zoba 1, Zoba 2...Zoba 6, and by doing so the Eritrean people no longer identify themselves in terms of the colonial era provinces, but by their newly found national identity. It worked!
It should be noted that the Eritrean government faced tremendous challenges while managing the changes, as the older generation were less inclined to adapt to the new changes, but by holding a wide range of awareness-raising public seminars as platforms to engage the population in debates and discussions, we were able to bring everyone on the same page to work towards a common goal and objective.
It requires both genuine political will and political stability to achieve something of this magnitude, and we Eritreans were successful in achieving this goal because we got our priorities straight, but most importantly, we didn't leave any room for foreign meddling into our own affairs. Take note!

ስለዚህ ይህ ምርምር እንደ ሚያሳየው ለአንድ አገር ሰላምና እድገት የጎሳዎች ቁጥር ምብዛት ወይም ማነስ አይደለም፣ የቋንቋ የካልቸር፣ የዉሃ፣ ማ ዕድን የወርቅ መኖር አለ መኖር አይደለም ። ብቸኛው ወሳኝ የአገር ለእድገትና ውድቀት ምክንያት ያገሪቱ የፖለቲካ፣ ኢኮኖሚና ሶሺያል ድርጅቶች ምን አይነት ናቸው? የሚለው ነው። የመጀምሪያው ያደረጃጀት ሞዴል የግለሰቦችን ሙሉ ነጻነት እና እንቅስቃሴ የሚገታ ነው ወይስ አይደለም የሚለው ነው ። ይህም ማለት የክልል፣ የጎሳ እስር ቤት ተቃራኒው ማለት ነው። ቀጥሎ ይህ ያገር አደረጃጀት የማንኛውም ግለሰብ የፖለቲካም ሆነ የኢኮኖሚ መብት እና ባለቤትነት የሚያረጋግጥ መንግስትና ስ ር ዓት ማለት ነው ። የማንም የጎሳ ቡድንና ወሮ በላ እንዳሻው ያገር ሃብት ይዞ እንዳሻው የሚያዝበትና የሚቀማበት አገር ሺ ግዜ በቃልና በፕሮፓጋንዳ ቢሽሞነሞን ወዳቂ አደረጃጀት ነው። የነአቢይ የአንድ ጎሳ አንድ ፓርቲ አምባገነንነት የያዘው ይህን መንገድ ነው። ሆያ ሆዬ ለጥቂት አመታት ተካሂዶ ሁሉም ነገር ይፈርሳል ። ባንድ ቃል የኢትዮጵያ ችግር ጎሳዎች መኖራቸው አይደለም፤ ያገሪቱ የፖለቲካ፣ ኢኮኖሚ፣ ሶሺያል ድርጅቶች ኢንስቲትትውሽኖች በጎሳ ተደራጅተው አገሪቱ የእልፍ አእላፍ ጎሳ እስር ቤቶች መሆናቸው ነው።

Did your dear and near king of kings got destroyed due to ethnic federalism as you try to fool us or due to self seeking interest and power seeking system of authoritarian over centralized one language, one religion, one region, one culture, one chanting, land snatching,kabaro druming liturgies, where the Ethiopian majority Oromos who kept the country from going extinct were forbidden from speaking and learning in their own beautiful language just like all of the other Ethiopian nations and nationalities. Reform is good to correct negative experiences other than that going back to the imperial era of forced unequal marriage of slavery makes no sense.
Even my Gurage friends like ato Waajoo were treated and threatened as the last class cheap slaves forced to praise their slave masters just to feel good and safe? But yet don't just jump out of context and quote Robinson while you have fresh and clear historical records from mamma Ethiopia itself as well as your own dumb self. Dumb like the garden shovel!
