These are not really preconditions but they are very critical points in order a sustainable peace to prevail between the Ethiopian government and killil Tigray:

1. First and foremost, all the armed forces in Tigray must be disarmed immediately.

2. Tigray should officially admit the limit of the so called western Tigray is Shire. The people of Tigray should officially recognize Welqait, Humera, Tselemet and Raya belong to the people of Amhara.

3. The people of Tigray should cooperate with the Ethiopian government to handover the handful of criminals hiding in Tigray.

4. The Ethiopian government should allow the movement of wheat, oil and other stuffs to and from Tigray..

5. The people of Tigray should be able to move freely from Tigray to every corner of Ethiopia like the rest of Ethiopians.

6. Last but not least, the people of Tigray should officially ask an apology for the people of Ethiopia.


I expect some Ethiopians will not be happy with the points I have dotted down but hey..there is always give and take in making workable negotiation.....

1. All the armed forces Isaias must be disarmed immediately and handover their arms to TDF.

2. Isaias has to handover the strip of land from Assab to Adulis port to Ethiopia and Tigray as a compensation for the destruction he committed in Tigray.
