The Adwa victory in 1896 over the invading force of Italy is the prominent example of how a united Ethiopians could make history that impacts not only Ethiopia but Africa and the whole world. The Adwa war and victory was the culmination of the multiple pre-Adwa anti-colonization battles our fathers fought in various places of Tigray and in the present day Eritrea at Kuatit, Sahati, Gurae, Gundet and Dogali. In the Adwa war Ethiopians from every corner of the country were mobilized, united, faced a modern colonial army and scored a resounding and a "game changer" victory. Emperor Yohannes deserves recognition and respect for the pre- Adwa anti-colonial victories. I also respect and recognize the critical leadership role Emperor Menelik and the other heroes played in mobilizing, arming and leading the victorious Ethiopian army!
It is my hope that Ethiopians will once again reunite to fight " a corrupted life style , which is the main enemy of Ethiopia and the whole underdeveloped world" and make Ethiopia a model of success not only for Africa but to the whole world.
