As they say, old habits die hard. It’s to be recalled that the #UN had decided to trigger the movement of aid trucks to #Tigray ostensibly with the agreement of the #Abiy government.

Despite a written order to that effect from the authorities in #Addis To that effect nthing has materialized so far.

We have on our part been doing whatever we can to facilitate passage of aid convoys.The story making rounds is that the Authorities in #Afar are standing in the way of progress. Whatever the veracity of such claims though, the #Abiy government is responsible for the obstruction of the movement of aid trucks.

To the extent that regional authorities might have issues, it’s for the federal authorities to settle. We urge the international community to act resolutely & get the trucks going before we are forced to seek solutions elsewhere.

New thing in this interview is he appreciated the recent call from Aby for negotiations and peaceful resolution of the war.

This is huge if this reflects the position of EPLF and TDF.

He also appreciated Aby's admission no other region suffered as Tigray did.

This is good because we have many who don't believe facts unless they hear it from the lunatic PM.

Remarkably, "hunger" seems to be doing wonders for Getachew Reda. It is obvious that he has put on at least 50 lbs after he returned from Temben caves to Mekele. That's why rethinking the age old problem is needed

You feel very strongly about the issues you listed. But that's just one side's view. Others feel strongly against that view.

My point is that pushing this or that war narrative is foolish. Many accept the narrative based on ethnicity. If your parents were from Axum, you would not accept your above view. You would post the opposite view. What's wise is how to respect one another and bring peace.

You need to be prepared to give up taking your foolish narrative as the truth. Others too should be prepared to give up their foolish narrative.

Your narrative is one narrative, it is not the only narrative. That's the situation. It doesn't even matter if your narrative is right or wrong or half right. It matters what you believe and what others believe which will never be the same.

What's important to Ethiopians:
Sending kids back to school
Delivering life saving aid, the long term projects
Providing health care to millions
Etc etc
