Calm down, what’s your point? Who said America is known for investing in Ethiopia or in any country for that matter? The data you posted said 80% China’s FDI goes to manufacturing and not that 80% of Ethiopian‘s FDI comes from China and even if it is what’s your point? We know China, India, Turkey are the main investors. We need the US not because they will invest in Ethiopia. Understand first the role of the US in foreign relations, trade and international financial institutions.
Are you saying we have to stop dealing with the US so that we can remain friends with China? Not even China expects such stupidity. You know the US is China‘s number one economic partner.
There is no such thing as being ungrateful or the likes in foreign relations. China knows that unlike you. This is foreign relations, know the game before acting like a dumped girlfriend. This is not about being part of a religious sect. Everybody does what’s best for the country’s interest. China and the US are crucial for us and both know that. Neither of them ask us to stop our relations with the other. Only emotional people like you cry foul without grasping the rule of the game. The time of the cold war is long time over where you have to choose to join one club.
