Yifat Sultanate was the lowland area of Afar Region. Shewa Amhara are 100% Christian and only Argobas are Muslim within Shewa Amhara. The Shewa Amharas were battling Sultanates in Shewa since 1120s way before Amde seyoun came Christianity was already established within Shewa Amhara. the Sultanates all failed to Islamize Shewa for a reason. In fact Amde seyoun only lived for a few decades whatever he did could not last long

Islam has always been a religion of arab merchants in Shewa. The Argobas intermixed with Arab merchants and converted to islam outside of that very few people in Shewa saw a reason to convert to a Arab Religion so saying Shewa was 100% muslim is Pure historical BS and you know it!
