What a stupid and retired title "ምድረ ማያዊ". Eritrea is not "ምድረ ማያዊ" as the Arab enslaved and Abid minds say?
I am quite sure the original title per the writer was the historically proper "ምድረ ባሕሪ" but it is likely an Arab enslaved mind may have changed

In historical context the amharic name for Eritrea is “Bahir Negash” our Emperor from shewa Zara Yacob established the kingdom of Medri Bahri in Eritrea And appointed Eritrean kings to rule their kingdom/provinces/country so i think z reason why z name is not used is because it is identified with royal habesha history

The issue is not about "ምድረ ማያዊ" which is "Land of the Water" being or not being Tigrinya. Every water is not a sea but every sea is water. "ምድረ ባሕር" is specific that represents the land of Geeze speakers on the Red Sea. The issue is that to the Arabs, they gave "Land of the Sea" which represents the real ancient Eritrean Sea which has always been "ምድረ ባሕር/ምድረ ባሕሪ" in Geeze. In all ancient Geeze texts, it has always been "ምድረ ባሕር". This is the reason that I am rejecting.
