Are you out of your mind? You want to take a country that jailed a patriarch for 15 years without his day in court as a role model in the world? How many patriarchs have died in prison in the world? Do you want 280 patriarchs / popes / muftis to die in prison? Then what? The world will be peaceful?!Abere wrote: ↑10 Feb 2022, 09:58Why is sarcasm busy about searching news and flooded us making frequent post of the deceased Patriarch? You are making his death political. As far as I know the only place that house faith and politics together is Ethiopia. Each deceased or alive patriarchs, but they are all political appointees instead of being fatherhood. And as far as keeping religion pure and intact from foreign cult infiltration is concerned, Eritrea is a role model in Africa and the rest of the world. You can bad mouth or alleged the politics of that country, but when it comes to religion the government is safeguarding and keeping it pure. The oldest faith of the country, Orthodox Christianity is pure and intact there. I wish Ethiopians consider the Eritrean Patriarch as their Patriarch. Sorry, I can tell you one example one of my relatives happened to meet the ex-Abune Paulos in a church. You know what he did, my relative refused to kiss Abune Paulo's cross - he considered it as a curse not a blessing and he did not want to be desecrated, considered the Patriarch unholy. That is how much the Ethiopian Orthodox is becoming @ss hole political.
If you asking releasing Sibhat Nega is more shocking and criminal than patriarchs died at his home. The government of Eritrea does't care less about the love of the people toward the government but the government makes sure they are respected and feared and that is called governing. Look what Abiy is doing, he is killing the nation with his bone-less moves.sarcasm wrote: ↑10 Feb 2022, 10:32Are you out of your mind?
