The self-appointed government in Ethiopia calls TPLF a terrorist organisation. Historical facts show that TPLF is the most democratic group with some weaknesses, which need to be addressed by TPLF members and supporters.

TPLF overthrew the military regime in Ethiopia in 1991 and established Federal Government of Ethiopia based on ethnic federalism. Ethnic federalism has advantages and disadvantages. But it was advantagous for 80% of the population in Ethiopia as they actively participated in administering their own affairs. 20% of the population felt disadvantaged as lands were given away to other ethnic groups which were oppressed by the Amhara . Southern peoples specially Sidamo, Gambella, Somali etc were actively governng Ethiopia through their representatives. The other disadvantage was to Tigray, which some of it's historical land was given to Afar (Dallol, Berhale etc used to be under Tigray). Barentu, Segneiti etc were under Tigray before 1890 and are now under Eritrea which separated from Ethiopia in 1993)

In general TPLF was the most democratic organisation in Ethiopia. It is now fighting against Ethiopia's illegal government. TPLF s supported by people of Tigray and other people from Ethiopia. Ethiopia's illegal government should stop calling TPLF a terrorist organisation. TPLF is waging a just war against the terrorist state of Ethiopia.

Under TPLF-EPRDF Ethiopia built thousands of schools and 50 universities.Infrastructure building was improving. The country was starting to increase it'smanufacturing sector. It was exporting textile and leather finished products. It was importing less and was actively engaged to subsitute imported items by producing them locally. Now Ethiopia has become dependent on imported goods again. There is no rule of law in the country. Citizens are killed or robbed of their property. Women are raped and children killed. Tigray Regional State is under nazi like blockade, where the government in Ethiopia does not allow good to be go to Tigray. Tigray's infrastructure incuding shools, hospitals, factories have been systematiccly destroyed by the Government of Ethiopia and Eritrea.

Tigray people and TPLF are resisting the blockde of Ethiopia. We hope to liberate Western Tigray soon. We hope also to liberate Asseb port from Eritrea soon.
