My view is that Ambassador Pasi, who served only 11 months, is leaving to "pursue other interests" because she objected to the shenanigans of the white colonialists vis à vis Africa. Ambassadors do what they are told to do. They don't make policies. And when we see a career diplomat leaving after such a short time, we have to conclude that she has resigned due to objection to the policies she was asked to implement. The #NoMore movement is very effective!

The question is why was she assigned to Ethiopia in the first place? India and America have formed a sort of anti-China alliance known as the quad -US, Australia, Japan and India. In her 9 month tenure she has never hinted any type of policy disagreement. During her confirmation hearing I thought she was anti-TPLF in that she had stated that TPLF triggered the war. Then she was dead silent.She has never been seen in Ethiopia except here visit to Awasa industrial park the day before Biden ordered sanction against Ethiopia.
Well, Tracy Jacobson is a Jew but not an expert on Ethiopia. We shall see. The Indian media, wion news has pretty hostile toward Ethiopia. On the other hand India supported Ethiopia in the UN but so far there has been no diplomatic activity between Ethiopia and India which unusual considering the number of Indian educators working in Ethiopia.

So in this confirmation hearing, Geeta says that US should support Abiy and some how this view of her has not been reflected in her 9 month stay in Addis

I can say that I have a better understanding of the mindset of Indians as I had Indian classmets and also work colleagues at different times and places for several years. They are wish washy, untrustworthy, and opportunist people. That's real and the fact that the said lady acted in a manner contrary to her words never surprised me.
