- They are motivated by Egypt to invest in Ethiopia so that they help Egypt to control the source of the Blue Nile.
- To counter the infulence of Israel and other geopolitical and economy rivals.
The way for ward for Ethiopia:
Ethiopia has to open up and create corruption free conducive environment for the Arabs to invest their money in Ethiopia( in addition to investment from the USA, Europe, China , India etc) but has to be careful so that the Arabs will not neo-colonize it through corrupted government officials and religious leaders.
