There is a reason why you don’t see Fano and Afar fighters as POWs! They have a strict policy of no surrender. They chose death over surrender that is what made them survive the 8 month war without getting humiliated like ENDF
To capture ENDF all you have to do is stop them from eating once their “Hode” is Bado they stop fighting and surrender. If you cut ENDF food Supply they immediately crumble just like Derg when we cut their Food Supplies that were coming From Massawa Port and guess what it was the Canadians who fed DERG in Eritrea once Derg lost Massawa the Dergs began starving they could no longer handle Being Empty Stomach and surrendered to EPLF.

Similar story occured in Tigray. The Tigray people refused to feed ENDF gave their locations out. And Captured them as they began starving. They surrender when their hode is empty
TPLF was able to survive in the Amhara region by looting the farmers food. By robbing the farmers of amhara TPLF was able to survive as well constantly looting the ENDF could not rob from Tigray farmers becuase the tigray farmers were also starving
Don’t believe me ask Dr Abiy Ahmed in one video he told people to stop fighting with empty stomachs and begin buying and equiping themselves with Tractors and Pipes for Farming !
