The North-South Divide in Ethiopia

I have been asking myself, if the word ሰላም still bears its relevance in the psychological make-up of our northern counterparts of the ethiopian society, specially the elderly.
The elderly have the main role of preserving peace, raise the symbol of peace high, preach about peace, work tirelessly for peace every day and every night.
We have seen on many occasions of the praise for peace and defense of peace in the south, examples come to mind, as an example, when the Gamo elders went out and defended against a mob onslaught on Oromo properties and their lives, in the immediate aftermath of the Burayou unfortunate incident.

So did also Sidama, Gedeo, and other elders in the respective communities during the time of need.
Where are the elders of Amhara and Tigrea, what are they doing right now?
Did they join the chorus of Abiy Must Go, or are they performing their duty of calling for peace instead?
Here are also Oromo elders taking the lead and here they are calling on the government to release more and more prisoners, in order to give peace a chance and favor of peace and pave a way towards sustainable development in our society.
