It doesn't say that. It says the charges against 6 people of the Debretsion and co. group have been dropped.

The charges against Debretsion may some day be dropped but to say his charges are already dropped is not true and misleading.

With out reading too much in to the semantics I think Withdrawal of Charges is as the same as Dropping the Charges.
Full Withdrawal of Charges meaning Dropping the Charges completely.
From the pieces of information coming out slowly, it is evident the US is working hard to squarely blame Eritrea for the war, the fake atrocities; and to destroy the nascent Eritrean and Ethiopian relations. And derail and thwart China and Eritrea recent agreement on the economic front.
Eritreans are vigilantly waiting to see what the deal is all about between PM. Aby and the US.
Is Aby becoming part to the US evil plan of blaming Eritrea? I hope not, and I am still optimistic to think PM Aby as a good partner for peace in the region. Again Eritreans are vigilantly waiting to see what the deal is all about between PM. Aby and the US.
