Eritrea is not perceived as an important country

Post by AbyssiniaLady » 06 Jan 2022, 14:55

The Chinese diplomat did not say anything to Isaias Afwerki, but in Kenya, he said China will appoint a special envoy to the Horn of Africa, Clearly, Eritrea is not seen as an important country.

Compare alcoholic Uhuru Kenyatta with alcoholic & depressed Isaias Afwerki. Uhuru is far ahead of Isaias Afwerki.

Eritrea needs a real leader not a depressed alcoholic.

Stupid; who an African leader got personal invitation by the leader of China? Who? Eritrea is so important, her leader got the personal invitation from the supper power of the world, China. The reason the China foreign mister told the Kenyan leader is because that where the US have been sending their FM. but an agame you will never get it. Sub-humans are just that sub-humans.

Chinese FM Wang Tells Eritrea Beijing Opposes ‘External Interference’ in Africa Amid US Meddling

Wang arrived in Eritrea on Tuesday for a two-day official visit, meeting with Eritrean Foreign Minister Osman Saleh and other senior officials before meeting with Eritrean President Isiaias Afwerki. He will later continue to Kenya and then Comoros.
The Chinese foreign ministry gave no further details about Wang’s visit. However, friendship between the two nations has been deepening recently, and Beijing has also moved to strike a stark contrast between its policies toward Africa and those of the United States, which has accused China of meddling in African affairs and forcing nations into its orbit via so-called “debt trap diplomacy.”
China’s relationship with Eritrea goes back decades, with China supporting the Eritrean Liberation Front fighting for independence from Ethiopia, and even giving Isaias special training in 1967. However, it later dropped this support when Ethiopia switched its recognition from Taipei to Beijing in 1971. China was among the first to recognize Eritrea after independence in 1993, and has coordinated several projects, including building a hospital in Asmara and the furnishing of technical assistance in the health sector.

What else have you expected the Chinese to say! China doesn't give a fu.ck about external interference in Africa. It said that just to counter the US involvement in Africa, as the US also does a few things just to counter China's advance in the continent - and sadly Africa has become the fighting ground for their proxy wars

Isaias Afwerki needs to learn a thing or two from corrupt alcoholic Uhuru Kenyatta for better economic, instead of making himself politically irrelevant.

Kenya’s Foreign Minister Raychelle Omamo said Wang and Kenyan officials also discussed trade issues during the foreign minister’s two-day visit.

“We signed an MOU (memorandum of understanding) and the establishment of a working group will look into the issues of tariff and non-tariff barriers to Kenya-China trade and to fast-track and increase exports from Kenya to China. Both sides also concluded and signed two protocols to facilitate bilateral trade, particularly in the export of avocados and aquatic products from Kenya to China,” Omamo said.

AgamistaniLady,

In 2020 the Chinese FM made visit to Eritrea on first trip of year. In 2022 he did the same. It is the only African country visited twice by Chinese FM since 2020.

So it signifies importance of Eritrea to the Chinese.

Who knows if there was no COVID he may also have come in 2021 also.

Don't worry the Chinese FM will back to Eritrea soon. China has interests all over the world and the Red Sea is a critical component of their BRI.

Where he will not ever set foot on is the kilil of Tigray. The rocky rathole than will forever be encircled by enemies.

Don't delude yourself, China is only interested in some countries for their raw materials and large customers, Eritrea does not have the raw materials China wants, nor do it has big consumer base for Chinese products, It's the same for Kenya and Ethiopia, Neither Kenya nor Ethiopia have the raw materials China wants, However, Ethiopia and Kenya have big customers.

Calling this bunch of morons, who have demonised their country for a damn refugee status and have not even bothered since to return to it, but are here farting to praise it, is, to me, an insult to Shabia, as these have nothing to do with it.

I mean Ethiopia, excluding Somali region. Somali region has very solid reserves of many critical raw materials that are of interest to China and western countries, such as oil and gas, bauxite, lithium, iron ore, uranium and many other raw materials.

I would say AbissinyaLady is the one who is irrelevant. He is venting his frustration at anything good that comes out of Eritrea. I wonder why Eritreans bother to respond to this lunatic Agame. Let him suffer in silence.
