I use to look at the "pictures" of Eritrea you posted and feel the way you do; kind of sad, not any more. I doubt if it's only me that changed their mind about that these days, except TPLFites off course; but, what I feel about Eritrea today is, let me put it this way, in fact, their reality is better than ours which is mostly fake "developments" with lots of debt that went to TPLF pockets.
If Eritrea had as much water resources as we do, she would have been a net exporter of food. No doubt about that, looking at their track records.
So, ours has some decent start in the energy sector, some roads but, a lot of fake stuff coupled with embarrassing misery that we still can't feed ourselves. Why was it a "rocket science" for tribalist TPLF/EPRDF to do some irrigation and become self sufficient in food 27 years in power? Damn!
Please don't mention that ugly light rail of the city; it messed the city streets up if you ask me.
Don't forget, Eritrea is not in debt; that means a lot.
