Whatever Abiy invested on this in terms of dollars and bolts, Ethiopia will get back 10-fold in terms of reduced crimes, in terms of heightened sense of community, in terms of unity among its people, in terms of inspiring its children to greater heights. Such projects and public space will propel Ethiopians into the modern age. And all this in the middle of a ferocious war? Hats off!
