US envoy to plead with Abey for safe heaven for TPLF leaders to help end the war

US horn of Africa envoy Feltman is heading to Ethiopia to propose possible safe heaven for the more than hundred tplf leaders in an effort to end the yr long conflict.
US is caught off guard by the recently acquired popularity of Abey Ahmed and recent military set back by tplf soldiers. US had high hopes that the military advance by TPLF soldiers would compel Abey to come to negotiating table but Abey succeeded in reversing the military advances made by TPLF.
US is well aware of the fact that Abey in collaboration with the Eritrean army is preparing for the final launch to chase TPLF leaders back to the mountains and rendering them irrelevant and Feltman is making his last-ditch diplomatic tour of the region to avoid total demise of tplf leaders.

I am not sure the Filthyman herds do understand the dynamism in the region and the determination of the HOA people to make sure that TPLF is never to be a meaningful force for the faceable future. My expectation is, the envoy is coming with some concession that will help the Abiy administration for a face-saving end to the entanglement without angering the wounded nation. Little do they know that the problem and the solutions are now out of the hands of Arat killo only to decide. TPLF is a HOA problem, fortunately

A “ safe pass” to US or Europe. I have no doubt the TPLF guys will take it if offered. Will the Abiy administration be willing to give them a free pass while Sbehat and company languishing in prison ? I doubt it. It is unjust and unfair. If they be given a free pass, those who were in prison because of their activities regarding TPLF should be let out of prison immediately.

The deadly Chinese drones Ethiopia acquired during the last few months have been the game-changers. And the arrival of Chinese foreign minister in Eritrea has prompted Feltman to make an emergency visit to Ethiopia in a last ditch effort to beg PM Abiy to give the TPLF a second chance at የጥሞና ጊዜ, but I'm afraid that's a little too late. The TPLF terrorists need to be apprehended and brought to face charges related to treason, terrorism, mass rape, mass murder, kidnappings, destruction of public and civilian properties, looting, arson, robbery, burglary, etc.

Almost everything tazabi had predicted has come to pass. His/Her reading of current events and empirical analysis of complex political issues is very refreshing. I used to be a big fan of tazabi's accurate predictions. Now I'm a whole air conditioner !
