Syoum's emotional view is too shallow, there is no Ethiopia with out Tigray! Queen Taytu Betul understood that a century ago and compelled her banda husband Menelik to march to Tigray to assist Tigrayans ( under the leadership of Ras Mengsha Yohannes) who were fighting alone against Italy and the ascari slaves for months prior to the historic battle in Adwa.
