Thus, it is difficult to see what the future holds for them. I wish they made up their mind about whether they want to secede or remain. I feel pity for Ethiopians who will have the responsibility for these focked-up people. It is like a parent who has an offspring that is always doing the wrong thing. I have a friend with that dilemma and see how totally devastated their lives have become because of black sheep in the family.
Tigray Needs a Major Cultural Revolution
It is probably an impossible task, but what Tigrayans need most is a total overhaul of many of their destructive cultural traits. It is an impossible task because Tigrayans are totally oblivious to the fact that they need it. They have brain-washed themselves into thinking that fighting with all their neighbours, becoming a pariah of the region is good for them. They have totally lost the sense of self-preservation, that living at peace with your neighbours is the best option for living a good life. I was hoping that some sane heads would emerge as a consequence of the catastrophe that is befalling on them and that is hanging over their future. I was listening to dozens of speakers at 2 paltalk rooms the last three days and am amazed by the degree of self-delusion expressed by speaker after speaker. They are not only in denial but anyone who expresses a slight different opinion from the party line is insulted, told that he is a banda, and then bounced. They spend days and weeks talking but are reluctant to admit the bare facts, that Alamata has fallen to ENDF. They don't want to speak about what is going on because that would require them to re-examine their views. If Halafi were to go there and say what he writes about Debretsion, he would be deported to Alaska.

Re: Tigray Needs a Major Cultural Revolution
I agree they need major change. But the only way to fix them is to break them. Break their spirit, for example, destroy their martyrs monument in Mekelle. trust me, they will shocked to death and that will wake them up.sesame wrote: ↑22 Dec 2021, 15:16It is probably an impossible task, but what Tigrayans need most is a total overhaul of many of their destructive cultural traits.
