what do you think of Woyanie's current call to 'withdraw voluntarily' from Amhara and Afar regions to reposition within Tigray and call for peace?

Issaias responded, I was there in 2000 when I called and begged the UN and the USA to stop the war that had led to the Algier's Agreement by which a process was run, and Badme was awarded by an independent arbitration to us. But Tigray is not a sovereign nation, it is an Ethiopian region and Abiy decides what to do anytime now.

No doubt, Issaias had lived thru a bitter defeat in 2000 but Issaias has never accepted the fact that the war was over. Will he accept the culmination of the war in 2022. It is likely. For the Tigrayans, with economic power of the entire Ethiopia in their hands, on top of their military superiority and their powerful diplomatic prowess at the time, they thought the war was over in 2000. In this situation, they flogged Issaias along the USA and the EU like a dead horse for 20 years. However, they forgot and neglected the angry seething and unforgiving leopard inside Issaias. A brief study of Issaias the person could have saved the Tigrayans their fall from grace to utter humiliating defeat. Issaias never ever forgets any disloyalty, disrespect or any slight. None of his enemies or opponents had the opportunity to live and tell any of their story; he makes sure that they are dead and buried 6 feet under.

Ask the Tigrayans, why they were hanging around a dusty little village known as Badme, for 20 years?
Badme and the Tigrayans holding it tight like a Gurreza to a tree branch was the greatest gift to Issaias.
