So Agame rag-tag militia has been ordered to withdraw back to Tigray. Will any Agame ask , WHY? I doubt it. But Tigray is part of Ethiopia and the Federal government has a right to impose its authority on its own territory. Debretsion, like all Agames, seems to be confused that he cannot communicate with any external government or organization.

I am not sure if there is an entity called "National Regional Government of Tigray", if there is one, then also if it is a legally constituted entity with a recognition of UN and any claim raised by it also be considered worthy of, let alone binding for, UN's attention.
I do know there are regional governments in Ethiopia, which have a federal region status, probably without any legal status to correspondence with UN on their own.
The other point i can read in this "statement" is a declaration of a war on the propaganda front while ostensibly claiming to withdraw forces from the regions it unlawfully occupied so far for many months and refused to withdraw consistently.
When there is a propaganda front openly declared, then there is no good will, in the absence of good will, there will be no trust and in the absence of trust the continuity of forceful disarming and incapacitating the enemy will remain the only option, I am afraid.
By still refusing to desease from halting its propaganda against the state, it is still considered an enemy and should be put out for the safety and security of the country to be ensured.

In fact Obbo Taye also confirmed that there is only Tigray region, not a Tigray Country, which could have a legitimate government to correspond with the UN.
A regional state doesn't have a competency to foreign relations, including UN.

The letter was written by someone who masters the english language, this time around, and as such someone was writing on behalf of the entity, for whatever reason.
One more evidence that there are still somebody hell-bent on interfering in the internal affairs of a sovereign member state of the UN. It can be anything but not a sign of seeking peace, what they preach in public.
