Very sad to hear the so cold "leaders" of the country claiming to commit war crime of destroying civilian infrastructures and economy of their own country. These are Mafias.

The level of ignorance is incomprehensible on many levels. Tigray is Ethiopia. Destroying Ethiopia as the goal of Ethiopian government and Ethiopian army is beyond troubling.
Tigray economy is interconnected with rest of Ethiopian economy. Manufacturing, education, health sectors serve all of Ethiopia. Destroying Tigray, or any region's infrastructure, impacts Ethiopian GDP, inflation, unemployment, foreign trade, currency etc etc.
When you destroy one region, the people of that region become hopeless. Then, they start to improve their situation by venturing out to other regions. In the process, they share the hopelessness with other regions. This misery on Ethiopians is government inflicted.
Hopefully, this ends soon and it becomes a lesson for future leaders and civil society.
