Red Sea Bunkering and Bunker One now offers High Sulfur Fuel Oil to its customers in Djibouti

After a very successful commencement of the strategic alliance between the bunkering companies Red Sea Bunkering and Bunker One, the two companies are now offering a larger varity of products to its customers in Djibouti.

The strategic alliance was established in October, in order to create a competitive bunker alternative to other locations in and around the North African region. Now with more customers taking bunkers in Djibouti, the companies have further diversified their serviced and added high sulfur fuel oil to its list of products being offered, in order to accommodate the growing bunker market.




Additionally, the alliance is now able to offer alongside deliveries of bunkering, simultaneously while receiving vessel is performing operations at the port of Djibouti. The service is, however, subject to port approval, supply program and extra costs involved.



Bunker Supplies to Bolster and Develop the Djibouti Region

The bunker barges MT RED SEA 1, and MT VER perform the bunker supplies. Both barges are fully equipped for bunkering operations, meeting the highest industry standards. Together with MT GSS, floating storage of 70,000 DWT in Djibouti, Bunker One and Red Sea Bunkering can serve its clients with a compliant, stable, and competitive flow of products.

VLSFO Very low sulphur fuel oil, HSFO high sulphur fuel oil and MGO marine gas oil will be available in Djibouti. All products will meet ISO 2010 specifications.

While Eritrea lost hope and sense of direction and finally jumped in to Ethiopia's Tigray war chariot, Instead of focusing on its hand to mouth economy and attracting investors, The Republic of Djibouti is racing alone very fast and it is on its way to becoming the world's premier hub ports as well as international bunkering hub, I am sorry for my fellow Afars who are under siege & trapped in Eritrea.

The HOA is a blessed location, Its sea is a strategically important line for global trade and shipping, 20,000 vessels pass through it annually, 20 percent of global trade and 30 percent of the total volume of oil and gas supplied to Europe and The United States of America.

Needless to say, Eritrea is a forgotten country. But anyway, one thing is for certain, no matter how much Eritrea intermingled with Ethiopia, Ethiopia will use Eritrea and then dump it.

Djibouti has become a hub for international trade, Three years ago, Djibouti overtook Salalah port in Oman to become the major transshipment hub of Africa and the red sea region. And now, about 50 percent goods to and from South Africa are currently transhipped at Djibouti.

Transshipment ports are intermediate facilities (see picture below, Djibouti) where goods are unloaded from one ship and loaded to another to continue to other destinations.

Why do you think anyone would mind seeing Djibouti developing and prospering? It only reflect tigrians twisted and wicked mind towards people around them. No one in Eritrea spends sleepless night seeing a neighbor country prosper. The challenge should be to look opportunities that can be used to benefit from such new activities.

You people have to reprogram your mindset to have a better understanding of your situation and come up with better solution. Working as a gold-digger for being or used as a thorn for the entire horn of Africa population is no more. The sooner you get that message the better is for the tigrian people.

Just goes to show Eritreans how valuable ports on Red Sea can be even as transshipment points. They don’t need to be “watering holes” for sea water loving camels as your late midget leader suggested. The main barrier has been the cancer of the region TPLF and that is being taken care of.

Indeed the future is bright for Eritrea’s ports.

Eritrea must develop a port that has the capability to challenge established red sea hubs such as Djibouti, Massawa and Assab ports are strategically located to handle transit business between Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East, but first, Eritrea needs to get rid of Isaias Afwerki & his low IQ worshipers, those people are anti-prosperity, Only then Eritrea’s ports will have a bright future ahead.
