Even though the likes of Tamrat are clearly warmongers and some like Meaza are very destructive for the society, they nonetheless have the right of due process in a court law. Every government supporter should demand for their rights to be respected and they be brought to court ASAP.

Do you know who could be funding this so called EHRC? It seems that there is a flow of coins from the side of an international organization, like UN or any of its agencies.

In that case, it is clear what is unsitting it.

But we have now a priority and we need to deal the prio issues first. Until then they can wait for their "fair trial".

ሁሉም የጋዜጣኝነትን ካባ ለብሶ ወድህ ወዲያ ማለት ይቃጠዋል።

But you know what? Even journalists are not above the rule of the law and in Ethiopia we have currently an state of emergency, the state can lock you up and make investigation into your ins and outs.

Lock'm up, if I am asked.

Here are also some of their cohorts and EHRC can demand their freedom

I'm with you with most of what you are saying but still we can't allow state affiliated medias like Walta TV, ETV and Fana TV replace the courts. The investigation must be conducted by courts and not by state medias. I believe the government has enough evidence to jail these people but it should present its evidence to the courts and let the courts decide. I understand we have much urgent issues to care for now and that is why we should give the government some time and not push so hard but in places like Addis it should not be difficult to bring these individuals to courts.

We all know what state medias were doing during woyane reign. They were doing the dirty jobs for the woyanes and were known for already condemning many innocent people before the court trial. We can't support the same rotten culture. Criminal or not, let the courts decide and not Walta TV.

I think there is a flaw in your thinking here as well.

We are under an onslaught of propganda by the so called international media outlets, many of them could be paid agents or tools for external players, who have got a vested interest in weakening Ethiopia. This is on top of the military campaign trying to dismantle Ethiopia by going as far as to the Hell and coming back, if needed, according to the enemy's own stated mission.

Under such a situation Ethiopia has to mobilize all of its resources and defend itself, including media outlets. We are in a war of existential threat.

Everybody should feel that it is deployed to the war front, Ethiopian media have also got a role to play, they are stakeholders when it comes to the safety and wellbeing of the country and should use their professional capacity in defending Ethiopia.

I don't see why they should keep quiet then, they should be exposing the internal and external adversaries of the national wellbeing.

They should report what they have seen and heard.
