የአማራ ሃብት ሲገመገም - the largest economy of the country, the largest source of federal tax revenue, skilled labor, etc.
Amhara region is the largest economic power house of the country: largest pie of federal tax revenue is from this region, this region if the largest food supply of Addis Ababa city (the third largest population size or region) and all other cities in the country, the region has the largest volume of cultivable land, it has dynamic and entrepreneurial population, endowed with human capital. Without exaggeration, this region is the nutrition of the country. Unfortunately, because of adverse foreign intervention and mercenaries, this population is denied peace for they know peace means prosperity of the country and political empowerment whereas turmoil and violence mean a weaker country to ride it easily. For instance, the second largest economy may be next to Addis Ababa might be Dessie + Kombolcha, however, the mercenaries recently demolished them taking the region back to 30 or 50 years.

• አማራ ስም ሲያጠፋ ሀብት እንደለው ግን በወያኔና ሸኔ እንደተዘረፈ አስመልሶ ይጮሃል::
  አማራ ሲለምን ምናምንቴ የለኝም መናጢ ደሀ ነኝ እያለ ይለምናል፡፡

• አማራ ለመስፈር ያሰበ ግዜ ገራችን በረዘመ እርሻ ምክንያት እህል ስለማያበቅል አርሼ ልበላ ነው ወደዚህ የተሰደድኩት እያለ ኦሮሚያና ደቡብ ይሰፍራል፡፡

• አማራ መሬት መቀማት ሲሻ ጥርብ ግራር ወስዶ ቆጮ ውስጥ እየጣለ ታበት ተወለደ፣ እግ/ር እዚህ ተገኘ፣ ስለዚህ መሬቱን ልቀቅ እያለ የደሀውን ጓሮ ይቀማል፡፡ ከሀዲ ይሉሻል እንዲህ ይገለጣል፡፡

We are talking in terms of GDP pre capital, import export, trade domestic and international, knowledge capital, and economic productivity.
