ይህን የሰማሁ ዕለት የመንግስት አዝማሪ መሆን ይህን ያህል ክፉ እና እብሪተኛ ካደረገ አጋጣሚውን አግኝቶ መንግስት የሆነውማ የተሻለ ክፉ ነው ማለት ነው አስብሎኛል። እኔ በጣም የማዝነው በእነዚህ ወገኖች ነው እንጅ ከኢህአዴግ ውስጥ ህወሃት ስለተወገደ የሚፈለገው ነፃነት እና እኩልነት እንደማይመጣ ከተገነዘብኩ ሰነባብቻለሁ።

የባሰው ሲመጣ ደግሞ ለፍትህ ያለ ፍርሃት የሚሞግትን ሰው “እከሌ መታሰር ፈልጓል ግን የሚያስረው ጠፋ” ሲባል እሰማለሁ። እስርን ሞምባሳ ሄዶ እንደመዝናናት የሚያስቆጥር ምን አይነት የአስተሳሰብ ምክነት እንደገጠመን ግራ ይገባኛል! እንዴት ያለ ራስን መናቅ ነው ሰው እስር ቤት በመግባቱ በሚያገኘው ዝና ተጠቃሚ ይሆናል የሚል እሳቤን የሚያመጣው? ሰው በነፃነት ከኖረ (ዝና ፈላጊ ከሆነም) ለሃገር ለወገን ጠቃሚ ነገር ሰርቶ እስር ቤት የሚሰብረውን ሰብዕናውን ሳያጣ ዝና ማጎኘት እንደሚችል ማሰብ ከባድ ሆኗል። እስር ቤት የሚያመጣውን ሁለንተናዊ ቀውስ በአንድ ሳምንት ከሚረሳ ታስሮ የሚገኝ ዝና ጋር ማወዳደር ከድሮ እስከ ዘንድሮ ብቅ ያሉ የመንግስት አዝማሪዎች የጭካኔ ጥግ ነው።

የመንግስት አዝማሪነት ትልቅ ማዕረግ መስሎት ለፖለቲካችን መቃናት በገባቸው ልክ የሚታገሉ ሰዎች ይታሰሩ እያለ የሚጎተጉት ሁሉ ጌታ የተቀየረ ዕለት እጣ ፋንታው ምን እንደሚሆን የትናንቶቹን ባለ ጊዜ ነን ባዮች ማየት ነው።

ጌታ ተቀይሮም ፖለቲካው ባለመቀየሩ ትግላቸውን የቀጠሉ ጥቂቶች ግን እውነተኛዋን ነፃነት ናፋቂዎች ናቸውና እንግልታቸውም ቀጣይ ነው። እያየን ያለነው ይሄንኑ ነው። ታምራት ነገራ የተቀየረውን ጌታ ኦህዴድን ፖለቲካ አብጠርጥሮ የሚያውቅና ያለፍርሃት የሚተች ነው። ይሄው መርገም ሆኖ ተቆጥሮ እስር ቤት እንደሚከተው ግልፅ ነበረ። አሁን ታሜን እስር ቤት የወረወረው ተረኛው አሳሪ በምን ምክንያት እንዳሰረው ባያሳውቅም ነገሩ ከዚህ እንደማያልፍ ግልፅ ነው።

Most of the so-called Ethiopian journalists don't seem to understand the meaning of state of emergency. Once a government declares a state of emergency, most rights are curtailed because the government needs to act to avert the imminent danger that necessitated the state of emergency. I doubt if there is any Ethiopian, other that the TPLF terrorists and their supporters, who would challenge the state of emergency as unnecessary. But it is amazing how lax Abiy has been with implementing the strict application of the restrictions that need to be imposed. Here is what Wikipedia says about the matter

Meaza and Tamerat pushed the envelope a bit, sometimes brought things to the edge however, their straight forwardness and bold statements made the media outlets they worked for very interesting but, weren't fabricating stories. Meaza particularly traveled to the places where incidents of crises took place to report; talked to the people there; what I saw in her presentations while in Abbay Media seemed very honest and fair reporting despite what she likely saw in the field, more gruesome stuff. She comes out as someone who is genuine in what she does and one who liked doing her job; that is what made her likable among listeners in my view.

It is fine at this juncture these & other reporters are questioned and maybe reprimanded by the officials if they've done something wrong but, should be released quickly if they have not committed a serious crime.

BTW, to the contrary of how Horus felt about Meaza, I and probably many others stopped watching Abbay Media after Meaza & the others left. One or two who are still at Abbay are good but, the rest aren't in par to the caliber of Meaza, Berhanu and the others who left the show. I say Abbay practically killed that dynamic show.
