I have been closely watching the geopolitical field and have concluded that Ethiopia should fully side with China and forgo its politics of balancing the east and west. What I expect from Dr. Abiy Ahmed is him deepening ties with China not only economically but also militarily and placing Ethiopia as China's #1 ally in Africa. The Ethiopian government must work hard in the next 10 years to sign military agreement with China and deepening economic ties.
