let's assume your translation is correct and then may we ask in which context was the use of "if"?

Encouragingly or discouragingly, which can also be contextually related to it is good for you to enter or it is not good idea to enter, what was the if used for?

The weyanay vermin sactisim deliberately omitted what follows next which roughly translates into " Americans saying don't enter addis is facetious". He saying the Americans say don't enter addis but in reality they don't really mean it.

Let us say it is if you make it there. There is contradiction. In the time of “if” the US state department was faking it : the US state department was on record saying do not go to Amhara and Afar lands. The two scenario cannot stand together. If that is the case the US has blood in its hands. For thousands of young Tigrean kids killed it should be held responsible.

A reality doesn't make sense if taken out of its context. Americans told TPLF not to enter Addis because their analysis of the situation predicted that it would be a disaster to try to control a city so uniformly opposed to TPLF. Also, their prediction of massive opposition to Abiy proved to be wrong. It was only then they advised against entering Addis. But consider the overall situation of the whole year. What was America doing? They were literally replaying 1980s & 1991. Clandestine support, proxy (Egyptian) support, media support, all sorts of irregular warfares etc. Folks, go back and listen to the words of Linda Green, Samantha, Blinken, all the CIA agents acting as Journalists. Listen the level of their confidence and certainty of the collapse of Ethiopia. They were speaking from a precise plan of action. Only following Ethiopia spectacular fight back and historic national unity and the invocation of Adwa, did US begin to think twice. Consider American behavior through out the year of 2021 and you have the truth.
