Getting the record straight: The only crime my daughter Hermela Aregawi and I have is being born as women to the Tigrean society. Having one of the worst cultures on women on planet earth, women having an independent mind is a foreign concept to Tigray and Tigreans. This undoubtedly have been proven by how the Tigreans have been treating us on the global board. We don’t mind being trailblazers.

This has nothing to do with the independence of women or gender equality which is hyped in the west and highlighted by the Mother of Hermela , This has to do with herd mentality on which the leeches have implanted on every Tigrian. They have indoctrinated Tigrians to echo every crap the leeches have preached.
With all the respect To Hermela aregawi and her mother, she is out of order when she claimS that Tigrians have some how have the worst culture on women. If she is against Patriarchal society in General, it is one thing but to badmouth the culture which raised her in an effort to defend her daughter is another.

Herd mentality is a big challenge for many years to come in my view for the whole of our societies, because we fostered it for our own political expediency, purposely. The long term damage was conveniently ignored, we have seen many things happen in our time. We are paying the price. It is not limited to Tigray these days, to be honest here.Deqi-Arawit wrote: ↑08 Dec 2021, 16:13

We can be confident that both Yemane Negus and you got your seven eleltas when you were born, were not raped or beaten by women, were not considered unclean for being male when approaching a church..etc. Don't try to defend the indefensible.Deqi-Arawit wrote: ↑08 Dec 2021, 16:30Revelations wrote: ↑08 Dec 2021, 16:23Shining light in the darkness of bad culture is not badmouthing, unless you're also the celebrator and beneficiary of such bad culture/value.
Yemane Negus was not of a female gender but he was gunned down in the middle of Mekele just because he opposed the leeches, The reason why the leeches are framing and character assassinating Hermela Aregawi has nothing to do with the organ between her legs but with her independent and opposing views. This is what I am trying to convey weizero Asleqash!

Well the woman who is a Tigrayan said it all which we often call it "from the horse's mouth". Believing that you are an outsider to Tigray society, she can speak about the society she is part of better than you or anyone else. To add to this, Tigray is a culture where raping a woman is considered OK. Rape is common scenario in Tigray society and Meaza Giday (the current tplf propogandist in the west) hereself admitted it on her tweets before she delete it recently when TPLF is deposed. so tell me which society in the world is OK with rape?
These two women, mother and daughter recieve thousands of slanderous insults from their people often citing their womanhood.
By the way, are you Tigrayan? or hybrid? or somesort?
Question for our Ethiopian brothers and sisters.Revelations wrote: ↑08 Dec 2021, 16:58

Are non Tigrian Ethiopians any different than Tigrian Ethiopians when it comes to their role in the household? Forgive me, but When you wrote your piece, you sounds like you are a European or an American who is alien and totally lack knowledge about the Horn of Africa. Let's talk about rape in Tigray since it is eyebrow raising topic . In the BBC Tigrigna program, there was a topic about the subject and many women were holding demonstration against the leniency of the leeches toward the culprits who committed the crime. If it was a common practice or culture as some people assume, there would have never been a demonstration or opposing view against this practice. In regard to the other issues which is closer to the heart of Oprah and other feminist fighters, I am not even going to comment it since it is practiced in the entire Horn of Africa.Abere wrote: ↑08 Dec 2021, 17:33Deq-Arawit,
Why are so obsessed with the superlative and comparative degrees in the explanation of the mistreatment of women in Tigray? The crucial point should be: Are women in Tigray experience rape, beating, coercion, dehumanization, genital mutilation's, have low self esteem (under priced - paying dowry to a man or bred for dowry collection), have equal access to food as their husbands or eat later after everyone else, etc.? If you answer <Yes> anyone, more or all of them then you should share her harrowing experience which she undergone in that society. And should advance her cause. Do not kill the messenger. You just can't say I will have to wait for the rest of the world that have worst cultural mistreatment of women to change. Look, this woman is a role model heroine. She changed her life and the lives of her children, to be free from the shackles of cultural suppression and gender based exploitation. We know that TPLF used many female Tegedaly's as their slave but when they reached Addis Ababa the deposed them marrying urbanized miniskirt dressing girls. You teach a woman, you teach a nation. That is what this heroic woman achieved. Her daughter, Hermella Aregawi, is now a global voice. Had Hermela grew and lived in Ethiopia, she would have had the fate of those thousands of Tigre girls perished in war. You see the difference of being an egalitarian society and a repressive society? I guess so.

He told us, in his own words, he trusts a Tigrean than he does to an Eritrean who happens to be a muslim......That is self-explanatory for who this retard is, for Nationality is more than religion and DNA ......Our revered father Aboy Woldeab Woldemariam wasn't Eritrean by blood, and Simon Bereket is.........
Now, was Aboy WeldeEab Weldemariam an agame or an Eritrean?

The situation in Tigray is compounded by poverty, ignorance and God-less Malelit otherwise in general women are not treated very well all over the world. In the Arab world it is horror. In the West domestic violence and seksual harassment are rife.Deqi-Arawit wrote: ↑08 Dec 2021, 18:06Are non Tigrian Ethiopians any different than Tigrian Ethiopians when it comes to their role in the household?
