I am disappointed that Eritrea was hiding from the world by the colonialists who wanted to rule it with out being noticed and hence missed to be in the lists of the world wonders.....in this case the Eritrean Railways and cableways, which still holds the world record of 72 miles..
For sure the magnificent Italian engineering and hard work and sweat of the then Eritreans, the topography, the elevation, the number of tunnels and bridges the drop down from 2500 meters jaw dropping or up in reverse, roller coster feel like, in only 65 miles, certainly surpasses than those in this video.
Yes due to the hasadat woyane and their masters causing us hiccups in the last 3 decades, even though we revived the system with our man power, after it was idel from 1970 to 1992, we are yet to concentrate on rebuilding anew soon and put it in the deserving lists of great rail way systems.
NB:
Freaking 13 miles or 130 miles light city rail way system and railway system where trains are not supposed to go are different things.
And that is why, why the railroad enthusiasts call the Asmara-Massawa and vice-versa rail road ERITREA HAS RAILROADS WHERE TRAINS ARE NOT SUPPOSED to go.
Any way here is the supposedly amazing railroads in the world, ofcourse with out Eritrea in the list, due to the reasons I mentioned above.
It is kind of a jealous husband doesn't want his wife to be seen by strangers so that of fear they don't steal her from him or kind of the agames and some misguided stupid Ethiopians downplay Eritrean things.
