1. He betrayed the Oromo youth that were the catalyst of the protests that brought him to power and jailed leaders like Jawar.
2. He sidelined his comrades like Lemma Megersa. This fact combined with point #1 made Abiy lose the support of the majority of Oromos.
3. He teamed up with a dictator who destroyed his country.
4. He underestimates war and talks like it is some football game.
5. He's soft when it comes to foreign pressure.
6. He refused to initiate a broad-based national dialogue after the ejection of TPLF from power in early 2018.
7. He flirts with Unitarianism which is very unpopular with at least 2/3rd of the Ethiopian population.
