Guys, this one catches my eye in the news:
"TPLF was listed as a Tier three Terrorist Organization by the US Citizens and Immigration Services."
Of course, the following one too:
" As a ethnic Tigrayan, Aregawi, said the TPLF does not represent the views of Tigrayan people". Kudos, Hermela.

They knew they were terrorists. They helped them come to power and lifted the terrorist designation. : 
The TPLF began in 1975 as a insurgent group, which later ousted former President and military leader Mengistu Haile Mariam in 1991. The group held national power in Ethiopia from 1991 to 2018. The TPLF was listed as a Tier three Terrorist Organization by the US Citizens and Immigration Services.
The US then lifted that status in 1991.
The TPLF said it fights for the interests of the Tigrayan ethnic group, who are mostly based in Ethiopia's Tigray region - located on the mountainous northern border of Ethiopia and Eritrea.
