To be honest, the only thing I am smelling in the air is the country is going into another new chapter of fighting. And also the awakening of Ethiopians about the deeper interest of foreign powers - that makes this fight really pernicious and protracted not see an end anytime soon. Yes, there's misinformation but if you spend enough time you find good ones. If you follow for sometime, you can tell if they lied to you because the truth comes out eventually

To be honest, regimes that rely on hiding truth from the public can no longer continue. People will find a way to find channels that give them information.

If you see Gobeze Sisay, he was accurate and persistent from Kobo, then Woldia....all the way to Debre-Sina. He got this audience by pure coincidence that he was working for ESAT and noticed ESAT was bending the hard reality. The minute Gobeze is fired from ESAT, he had massive followers.

When the PM went to Bahirdar 2 weeks ago confessing that the ENDF alone can't do anything, this fat ppigggs we're nowhere to be seen. Instead they continued their useless "Breaking victory news....."

So Gobeze is a true journalist who is siding with the people. He feels the pain of the people hence voiced his concern on the witnessed shaefull retreat of the ENDF.

Hands down, brother Abere. Not only the Ethiopian brother ጎበዜ ሲሳይ has been reporting the hard truth, but also he has been very frustrated as well as hurting for his people if you see his body language. Everything he stated has been right on spot. I know you don't like the news he has been reporting..Don't get me wrong...I don't like them either because I hate agames so much... but this is bitter reality you need to swallow. It might have been strategical retreat by the Federal Government, but the selfie obsessed TPLF rag tag militias have been advancing towards wollo-shewa direction and making noise on the social medias while hurting from West and East fronts .

However, everything might change anytime soon. Because the selfie loving agames rag tag militias are very weak....The reason I am saying this is that:

1. Agames have already lost so many of their rag tag militias and that they don't even have enough militias all other fronts...

Dear Misraq, Wedi , Hawzen,

I just asked this question wondering in a country of 110 million why the country could not have a couple of trusted news sources. I don't have any malicious intent to discredit ጎበዜ ሲሳይ effort. I don't want to shoot the messenger. He is doing fine work on his own. But the ratio of ethical journalists to the population really is way less than the number of physicians/doctors per population. This is worrisome moving forward. Is it because wartime journalism requires a different standard than the regular normal time, perhaps bias creeps in due to illusive impact of citizenry moral duty?
