Ethio-Americans, don't be fooled by such cheap lip- service. She wants your votes, after seeing what happened in Virginia. NEVER-EVER, give your vote to a democrat. After all this blood shed by Ethiopians, I say f-her!

I agree. It should not be selective. Whenever and wherever possible, Democrats in general must be busted.

Then everyone should stay home and not protest, if this is how we think. You either want them to walk back their destructive policy or keep it the same. Words matter. And we will encourage others to follow her statement.

So you won't accept a rep walking back a destructive policy? What's the point of protests if you don't intend to change minds for one reason or another?

Apparently, you don't believe in holding people accountable even to the point of bloodshed as long as they say: "oops". Is it now, after over a year she has realized a coup is in the offing? Give me a break. No wonder, the ugume are playing you guys like a football. You're too soft.

Not giving them your vote, is the best protest you can lodge.

And yes, personally, I look at protesting as kind of begging which I NEVER engage in. But, you can go ahead & give her your vote. I'm not stopping you.

Exactly! What's the point?

Do you know how many protests Eritreans organized in over a decade, all in vain? I personally, have lost count.

Only the qeero booting out the junta & the appearance of Abyi on the scene, changed all that for us.

It's a sill logic you have proposed. At the moment, there's no election held but there's a very destructive US policy towards Ethiopia. People go out to protest to change minds, expose failure of wrong policies etc. Yes, I intend to encourage elected officials to change such policies.

I think, you've gone deaf.

We've been there & done that while you guys were asleep and guaranteed, at least the majority of Eritrean Americans, will never vote democrat. And we'll see if her statement, will stop the junta in its tracks.

The only good thing with these demos, are people getting to know each other & loving one another.

I could even ask you, what business is it of theirs to interfere to begin with? Don't empower them, in ur mind.

I think it's easier to get them booted out and getting them replaced with someone that resonates with your grievances rather than getting someone like karen to backtrack on her initial stance. People don't like being proven wrong.
