During the rally, Mayor of Addis Ababa, Adanech Abiebie, sent out stern messages. "They forgot we were the children of Adwa yet they want to threaten us with AGOA", she said.
We don't sell our freedom for your wheat, is it clear enough Mr. Biden?
On November 02, U.S. President Joe Biden removed Ethiopia from the African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA) trade agreement while on the same day terrorists were threatening to throw their full on Addis Ababa after killing hundreds in Dessie and Kombolcha. This is seen by many Ethiopian as a let down by the U.S.
Nevertheless, referring tot oday's rally, the Government Communications said "Let this be a sign to the international community. The people have spoken. Ethiopians are ready sacrifice themselves for the welfare of their nation. They will not tolerate undue interference in their affairs. They have spoken that they condemn the TPLF terrorist and its extremist partners."

Did we say the fight is not only about Ethiopia, the fight is more than BLM movement, Civil-rights movement, in America, the abolshment of slave-trade, the eradication of colonialism and the demand for right of equality in the world?
This current campaign will usher in the true emanicipation of those left behind, everybody join in and be part of history.
Ethiopia will rise again!
The fight has started, but it could have some bumpy roads ahead, but then again nothing is without a price, this event will usher in a mega tectonic shift to the way the world is governed so far.

Ya right. Abiy's quest for absolute power as an implement of his amhara agenda has caused the burning and shutting down of many industrial parks!
AGOA's effect projected out for January pales in comparison to what abiy's amhara agenda has done to ethiopia's industrial policy and capability.

Your Amhara paranoia and Amharaphobia makes you hallucinate. The fact is when you have 35 and 30% representation you wild more power than 5% with rocky land.. At speed your sending Tigrayan kids to their death in hope of 4 killo , you going to remain the minority of minority for years to come, a hated one at that.

Former President Obama, come out and defend your name in time, as someone who traces back his roots partly to our neighboring sister country of Kenya.
Where do you stand, former President? Is it on the side of BlackAlliance for Peace or on the neo-colonialists? State now unequivocally on which side you stand in due time.
You have an ample option to clear your reputation as man of peace, NOW.

But there are elements also, who are career servants of their masters, the likes of Yohannes Woldemariam, who is using the mouthpiece of neocolonialists to disparage his own country of birth, at the cost of his own intellectual integrity and intellectual dishonesty. In doing so this inept political cadre tries to implicate the neutral body of Norwegian Nobel Peace Prize Committee as part of a grand plot against Tigreans, he is a loss!
When Abiy won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2019 for “his decisive initiative to resolve the border conflict with neighboring Eritrea,” it was widely celebrated as evidence that the prime minister was on track to forge a more inclusive and thus stable government in Ethiopia. But read against recent events, it is now clear that the achievement for which the prize was awarded — forging a new peace and “international cooperation” in the region — was part of a broader agreement to curtail TPLF influence over both countries. The deal that led to the peace prize was, in reality, a prelude to war.
In this short paragraph the authors try to imply that the war was planned and triggered by the Ethiopian government, purposefully omitting the fact that TPLF triggered it when it decided to attack the base of the Northern Command of the ENDF, it what was dubbed by the TPLF itself as blitzkrieg of "anticipatory attack to self defense". How could someone miss that, if not on purpose?
If he admits and present this simple fact, then connecting the dots will be impossible or very difficult, so disgracefully omit facts and present fictious narrative as an alternative.
They write the following to mean that it is the intereference of Eritrea and others that makes peace difficult, assuming this allegation is true for a moment, while omitting on pupose the interference of America will do even more worse to achieve the same.
Foreign powers are intervening in Ethiopia. They may only make the conflict worse.
Eritrea’s involvement makes the Ethiopian war more difficult to resolve, but it is hardly the only complicating factor from a foreign power. The Ethiopian government appears to have bombed towns in Tigray using drones purchased from authoritarian states including Turkey. It has also been emboldened by its strong relationship with China. As of 2020, China was the main source of foreign investment in Ethiopia, with its companies and corporations accounting for 31 percent of all brand-new projects last year (compared with the 21 percent that originated in the United States and the 5 percent in Britain). Ethiopia has also reduced its dependence on the West by diversifying its international partnerships. It receives a large amount of fungible money from Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. You are distorting facts again. Adwa is in Tigray and is history of allula Abab Nega. You have nothing to do with Adwa or with Aksumite Empire. It is all Tigray. Ethiopia is genociding Tigray and Oromo people. We need to stop Ethiopia from genociding any African communities. Africa should send troops to fight against the criminal Abiy Ahmed and his supporters.
