Abiy is destroying the 75 years old Airline which is the Icon of Ethiopia!
With the existing conflict between Ethiopian Civil Aviation Authority and the USA Federal Aviation Authority, Ethiopian Airlines may be suspended from operating to USA from the Addis Ababa Airport any time soon. With the possible closure of the Addis Ababa Airport due to security reasons , Ethiopian Airlines will also be forced to temporarily change its operation base. The decrease in traffic and increase in operation costs will expose the airline to huge loss which will make the airline future uncertain. Sadly, the airline that was established by Emperor Haileselassie 75 years ago and which has been number 1 in Africa is at the brink of collapse because of Abiy's mismanagement of the country. Even Mengistu Hailemariam was able to handle the Airline carefully.
