Wolqait is taken from Tigray by Menelik. North Gonder was also part of Tigray. Gonder is Qimant Country. Twedros was not an Amhara. He was from Qimant and Tigray. We need to solve the issue with historical facts. Claiming land that does not belong to Amhara, will finally harm Amhara people as it happened in South Ethiopia, where Amhara were deported to Shoa. Harar for example is not Amhara land, but the Amhara claimed to be Amhara. What traditionally (Shoa) has been part of Amhara is now challenged by Oromo and other communities.
