The repeated defeat of Abiy, Isaias and Amhara army in Tigray then in the Amhara land by TDF has initiated chain of blame games and complaints between the the Amhara army and the Ethiopian army. The Amhara army has been blaming the Ethiopian army for most of the defeat and retreat they experienced except thier defeat in Dessie which they blamed it on Tigrayans who reside in Dessie. It looks the Amhara amorphous army is trying to reorganize itself to operate in an independent and cohesive manner but in the absence of a political party that gives it clear objective, strategies and independent leadership it is expected to continue as fragmented, undisciplined, purposeless army embroiled with internal rivalry and conflict vulnerable to outsiders manipulation. The tactical relationship between the Ethiopian and the Amhara army has been broken but still the Amhara army is indirectly being controlled by Abiy through the Amhara PP so that it will not be a threat to Abiy or to Oromia. That necessitates for Amhara elities to establish a new independent party that replaces the Amhara PP and provides the required leadership for the Amhara army in safeguarding the interest of the Amhara as well as representing Amhara in the Federalist/Confederalist forum.
