They're also thinking they're debating with a hell of Ethiopians, when in reality they're only interacting with two tplfites with multiple nicks, not knowing that any Amhara you discuss with would tell you that they're confident that they would bring Eritrea back to Ethiopia sooner or later.

I always wondered why Eritreans love Amhara so much, even though it was Amhara that was running the show 30 years ago in Ethiopia and all ills in Ethiopia have roots in Amhara.

I beg to differ, those you see here are not "tigrigna cadres" rather a bunch of deqi torserawit offspring who suffer from identity crisis. On father's side, they are amharas and on mother's side tigriyan baristas. Hence, don't be surprised if you see them acting as more ethiopian than the ethiopians while they suffer from dubious identity crisis.

Please do not judge eris in wholesome because of those children of torserawit.

By the way their numbers in eritrea are few but they are the majority here at mereja.

You're equating Ethiopia with amara h00kerlady, not us. Last I checked, Abyi is an oromo.

We consider the West as our enemy in cahoots with some Amara elites (from Haile Selassie on down), not the amara people.

Besides, we're not a racist bunch. We don't believe in tribal divisions, but nationality as a primary uniting factor; hence we would like to see Ethiopia with that prism as well. Alas, the country is full of ethnicity obsessed ignoramuses like yourself.

Our main issue here is to see the final annihilation of the terror junta & whether the amara or some other entity does it, then all the power to them.

The new love between Amhara and Eritrean is problematic how ever I don think is based on reality. The majority have never agreed with Eritrean secession from Ethiopia. So I think level headed Eritrean see Amhara as a threat.

Well, let me assure you that there is no worry from the Eritrean side and the relationship is here to stay stronger. The reason is simple. The worst threat that our country faces at the moment is the existence of TPLF and its devilish ideologies or anyone who base his political ideologies on fostering ethnic and religious division between people.

Ethiopians of Amharic origin are not going to be judged by political decisions that were made in the 1900th or 50th or 80th but by today's political decision making. Because what will make difference is what decision we make today not what decision has been made in the past.

There can exist ideoligical differences let alone between people even between two sibilings. Over time, even those ideolgies can also differ. Because, it is time, expereince and circumstances that shape ideologieces not ethnicity belonging.

I get that the tplf is the enemy now and its a concern but just because they are the enemy. Doesnt mean that u have to lower your guard with the chauvanist amharas. Amhara have always opposed Eritrea statehood,for what ever reason. One should also take into consideration. When meles attacked Eritrea in 1998 during the border war. The amhara were playing the war drums louder then the agamas. In the hope to steal some Eritrean coastline territory. I am just saying amhara isnt your friends the only real friends you have in Ethiopia or who are neural are the guragea afars gallas sidama and Somalis. They have absolutely no problem with Eritreans.
