Riddle me this fellow brothers and sisters, when God made human beings, did he make a “black” man or a “white” woman? Of course not, man and woman He created them without any adjectives in front of their names. It was not until the damned devil, through the intercession of his serpent, interjected and offered the first record act of philanthropy that we started to view ourselves not as united under His care but apart through division.

Before you think this article is about religion and that I am here to convert you, let me disabuse you of that thought. I am just using the Bible to convey a broader story. As much as we rage against the machine and demand justice, the reality is that we power the very machine that is oppressing us because we keep giving our hands to devils who thrive through our disunity.
