Rest assured the ugums are winning here and there inside their godforsaken country astobia, but they won't ever venture to cross the eri borders. Strategically they know what awaits them while it will herald their demise.
Having said that,
Because of the dictator's political blunders, eritrea is invloved in this astobian civil war. It is not our war but consequently we will be forced to defend our sovereign state because he put us in such dilemma and the ugums along with their new allies the oromos, eritrea will be on their radar.
On another subject, it could be relevant to the current astobian debacle, I was following arab medias this late afternoon (link is below)
Many prominent political commentators shared their opinions regarding the current Feltman's voyage to addis.
They put 2 scenarios:
Scenario 1: they say it is most likely and which is to insist that abie leaves power and that they will find a safe haven for him and his family abroad.
Scenario 2: they say it is unlikely and that's that he sits in the negotiating table with his adversaries and form a new provisional/ temporary government until a new nation wide election takes place after consulting with them.

Yeah, we are here because of the blunders of the dictator. The dictator's unholy alliance with the neo-Dergue PP has pushed the OLA to fight alongside the TPLF after they were harassed, kidnapped and executed by the same TPLF for 27 years. The dictator wasted another big sacrifice made by the Eritrean army in arming the OLF amidst heavy Western pressure.
