This is the only option for abiy and Ethiopians if they want to continue as one country, Meqelle must be re controlled again.

You don't know shyyyt about military strategy. Actually, Abbiy's decision to vacate Meqele was a good one. At least, he knows where to find them. The hardest part about fighting a guerilla fighter army is its mobility. It picks and chooses its fight. That means, you are a sitting duck when you are fighting guerilla fighters. But, now, since Meqele is in TPLF hands, Abbiy can just take a few adventures to Meqele and get into the heads of TPLF commanders. Got it. Dirbay

I beg to differ, the astobian bloody and ugly civil war which is being waged cannot be classified as a guerilla warfare as we know it rather a conventional war. The ugums are not fighting hiding behind hills or mountains rather face to face. They are inside big towns such as weldia, korem, lalibela and other towns.
Hence, I disagree with the notion "guerilla war".

I do agree with you. They are fighting conventional war. But, that became possible later on. If Abbiy for some reason start beating them, then they will revert back to Guerilla Warfare. The odds are in their favor, but man power supply for Abby is unlimited. Hence, war by attrition is the best rout for him.

I believe you may concur with me. Abyi's latest best defense forces are now deployed or stationed in dessie areas to stop the weyannies from marching to addis and if his army are defeated which seems likely, the road to addis for the ugums will be a smooth walk.
