Urgent: Ethiopia asks the African Union to hold an emergency session to suspend Sudan's membership.
The Egyptian journalist, ኣስማእ ኣል-ሑሰይኒ , reported a short time ago on her Facebook account that Ethiopia asked the African Union to hold an emergency session and submitted a memorandum aiming at suspending Sudan’s membership in the union while condemning the coup, which it (Ethiopia) described as an ill-considered adventure and a betrayal of the aspirations of the Sudanese people towards freedom and peace.
