Such an ideologue, he must be high. No ferenji army will land it’s feet on Ethiopian soil. They usually use their money to deploy African soldiers but no African country will send its army to fight Ethiopians. That will never happen. EU is impartial, really?

The guy is ill-informed about world politics. He practically knows nothing. Yes, he might Eden’s adrenaline going, but the world he imagines existing does not exist.
EU should try to work with the Ethiopian government, but writing ultimatum is a no go.
It is a different world. I hope the EU guys should aware the new world order.

He has a good oratory skill, I should admit, but the content of his analysis is too fuzzy and one dimensional. He is basically asserting that EU will enforce the 27 point resolution.
Yes, they could utilize a barrage of economic sanctions to bring Ethiopia to its knees but given Russia’s & China’s backing of Ethiopia, the toothless EU will not dare step foot in Ethiopia militarily. What did they do when Russia annexed Crimea aside from economic sanctions? Zilch! What did they do against China’s mass incarceration of Uyghurs? Nothing! The same thing with the issues associated with Taiwan & Hong Kong. Of course, EU’s focus on Ethiopia is predominantly due to economic and security interests, not because of empathy or humanitarianism. The steady drumbeat is also partially motivated by their desire to maintain their prestigious position in global affairs. But at the end of the day, Ethiopia will beat the hell out of woyane thugs regardless of EU sanctions.

I wish you list your points and stop there. That way we can all learn from the exchange. I think the guest is willing and able to change his views or, at least, some of his views if you list your counter arguments and evidence.
When he says foreign military intervention is a possibility, he doesn't mean it's good or he wishes it happens. He is only giving an analysis.
I think your reactions come from your assumptions that individuals say what they want people to think and how they think. He doesn't strike me as someone who is trying to manipulate the audience.
We can always come back to see if his analysis is on point or not. And we will see if yours has merit. As long as we all discuss in good faith, that's what counts. Being dismissive just kills the discussion and doesn't advance learning.

To the contrary Yosief calls such Ethiopians intellectuals like Tedros, Lidetu and the likes of you and gearhead included as deceptive and utterly disgusted by such folks.
I agree with Yoseif on this.Most Ethiopians feel the same way towards Ledetu consequently towards the two Teodros and the rest of you at this juncture.
If you have the balls come out and say Wolkait, Lasta, Tsegede, and Tselemt(north-central Ethiopia Amhara) don't belong to the Amhara!
At least Yoseif is honest and wants Amhara to give up their land (telling fake history of the land) but, you all are cowards! Only play semantics in this forum. Boring!
On the other hand, Isaias (balls of steel!) has come out to help the Amhara to recover TPLF stolen lands!
