From it's direct interference in the internal conflict of Ethiopia by involving it's drones that were positioned in Assab- Eritrea, training and arming of Abiy's so called "Republican Guard" and continuous arming and funding of Abiy' s war gambling with TPLF, the UAE is heavenly involved in Ethiopia. The following are it's goals:

- As a means of projecting is power( small country but very rich) and further reinforcing it's geopolitical influence in the Horn of Africa, Africa and Middle East.

- All Arabs need Africa for food security( as a backyard farms) as a growth market, source of cheap manpower and raw material. Qatar, UAE and Saudi have been in competition in addition to Iran and Turkey

- As a leverage to control Ethiopia on behalf of Egypt. UAE support to Egypt against Ethiopia's interest is well documented as part of the Arab leage various resolutions in relation to the Great Ethiopian Reinssance Dam.
- Religious and ideological balancing of the Horn Africa and the Middle East

UAE Combat Drones Break Cover In Ethiopia

The deployment of Emirati unmanned combat aerial vehicles (UCAVs) on behalf of the Ethiopian government has been speculated on ever since the beginning of hostilities with the rebellious Tigray Region in November 2020. The oft-repeated claims that several Chinese-made Wing Loong UCAVs operate out of Assab air base in Eritrea to undertake combat missions over Tigray have never been supported by evidence that points towards such a deployment either in 2020 or now. However, almost one year into the conflict evidence that shows UAE-combat drones have indeed been delivered to Ethiopia to help it in its fight against the Tigray Defence Forces (TDF) has now finally emerged..
